There will be something for everyone at this, the biggest Scout training event of the year! The conference is a one-day supplemental Scout leader training extravaganza! It goes beyond Basic Training for all Scouting adults, providing ideas and how-tos in a wide variety of topics.

Joint Registrations: As much as we would like to meet requests to put people in the same class, it is very difficult to do so. Reservations are handled individually, on a first-come, first-served basis. Although we will try to do so, we cannot guarantee that individuals with identical class selections will be given the same schedule. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
On-Site Registration: Registrations will be accepted on-site, but we strongly advise pre-registration. Pre-registering is invaluable to volunteer Journey to Excellence Conference staff as they plan for the event, and also ensures that you get the classes that most interest you.
Class Schedules: You will create your class schedule as part of the on-line registration process. You will select the classes you want to take. During the online registration process, please choose 5 classes and 1 alternate. The classes are organized by category, be sure to choose the categories you would like to take classes from on the second page. You will be assigned classes based on your choices and availability. Your schedule will be ready for you on the morning of the Journey to Excellence Conference.
What to Wear and Bring: Wear your uniform and comfortable shoes, perhaps a light sweater. Bring a bag or daypack to carry handouts and other trophies and trinkets you pick up. Many people bring cameras or tape recorders. At the very least, bring a notepad and pencil.
