Council Endowment Gifts

Gifts to the Inland Northwest Council’s Endowment Fund will help ensure the future of Scouting’s outstanding character building programs. Gifts made to the endowment fund will last in perpetuity. Only the interest from this special fund will be used to support the council’s values-based programs. Your gift will last as long as Scouting lasts!

Scouting Heritage Society

In an effort to encourage endowment support, the Scout Council has established the Scouting Heritage Society. Its objective is to encourage men and women who believe in Scouting to invest in the future. Various methods of support include the following:

  • Summit Award
This is a national recognition for those who contribute $1,000 or more in cash or securities to the council’s endowment fund. Recognition items include a, personalized certificate and leader knot.

  • The 1910 Society
Founded in 1910, the Boy Scouts of America has grown into something larger and more significant than anyone anticipated. We honor that special date by presenting the 1910 Society Award to donors who make gifts of $25,000 or more to the endowment fund.

  • The Founders Circle
The Founders Circle recognizes deferred gifts designated to the endowment fund. Donors are recognized for gift commitments of $100,000 or more.

  • The Founders Club
The Founders Club recognizes donors who make a deferred gift designation from $1,000 to $100,000.
