Order of the Arrow - Es-Kaielgu Lodge
For over 100 years, the Order of the Arrow has recognized Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. This recognition provides encouragement for others to live these ideals as well. Arrowmen are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long term resident camping, and providing cheerful service to others.
Activities within the Order of the Arrow, members can expect to learn leadership skills, test their hand with crafting, learn new scouting skills, and build new bond of brotherhood both council wide and nationwide.
Es-Kaielgu Lodge of the Order of the Arrow is an integral part of the programs of Inland Northwest Council. Members of our lodge provide thousands of hours of service every year to the Council Camps and the rest of the community.
The purpose of the Order of the Arrow is fourfold:
- To recognize those who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives.
- To develop and maintain camping traditions and spirit
- To promote Scout camping
- To crystallize the Scout habit of helpfulness into a life purpose of leadership in cheerful service to others
