SUMMER CAMP STAFF NEEDED!

The Inland Northwest Council is seeking outstanding applicants for a variety of staff positions at all three of our summer camp properties. Qualified applicants will possess strong leadership, exceptional teaching skills, and work well with youth.  Paid Positions are available for applicants age 15 and older.

Seasonal Camp Positions

Management Positions

  • Camp Director - Oversees all camp operations and Management Team, responsible for all camp staff and finances and directly manages Administrative Staff. Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Assistant Camp Director - Helps Camp Director with assigned duties. Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Program Director - Oversees development of Programs and Activities, Manages Program Staff. Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Head Commissioner - Responsible for overall participant experience and needs in the camp, manages Commissioner Staff. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Administrative Positions

  • Business Manager - Responsible for customer registration, communication, billing, and accounting needs of the camp

  • Trading Post Staff - Responsible for retail sales and management of trading post inventory

  • Kitchen Manager - Oversees Kitchen Staff and operations to ensure quality and punctual food service

  • Kitchen Staff: Cooks - Responsible for food preparation, service, and quality

  • Kitchen Staff: Dishes/Prep - Responsible for food service, dishes, and dining hall cleanliness

  • Camp Health Officer - Responsible for non-urgent healthcare in the camp. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Program Positions

  • Area Directors - Oversees a specific program area of camp such as Aquatics, Ranges, or Scout Skills as well as staff training and supervision in that area. The Aquatics and Shooting Sports Directors must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Program Staff - Staff assigned to a specific program area of camp under an Area Director, responsible for delivering the program in that area

  • Lifeguards - Responsible for the safety and security of the waterfront and boating activities as well as the instruction of aquatics and boating skills. Must be 16 years of age or older.

  • Counselor in Training (CIT) - Unpaid volunteer position to introduce new staff 14 years of age to the world of Summer Camp Staff

Commissioner Positions

  • Camp Commissioner - Responsible for overall participant experience and needs in a specific area of camp, ensures participants have all necessary supplies and are having an enjoyable experience. Must be 21 years of age or older and six months commissioner

  • Quartermaster - Responsible to ensure that all camp equipment is stocked and maintained properly and that all participants have all necessary supplies

  • Sanitation Lead - Oversees sanitation team who are responsible for the cleanliness of camp facilities, including cleaning and stocking restrooms, campsites and showers. Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Sanitation Staff - Responsible for the cleanliness of camp facilities, including cleaning and stocking restrooms, campsites and showers

  • Assistant Camp Ranger - Assists the Camp Ranger with repairs to camp facilities and equipment. Must be at least 18 years of age or older
