"Pride of the Palouse" and home of the finest Camp Staff you'll ever find! Since 1938 this has been the home to summer adventure for countless Scouts and Leaders.  Excitement is growing in anticipation of the new programs offered at Grizzly this year. Camp Grizzly has a proud tradition of unit service and great programs. Our experienced and energetic Staff is waiting to meet you and make this summer the best ever for your unit.

 

Camp Grizzly has evolved from a small unimproved camp to the jewel in the Inland Northwest Council's camping crown. Grizzly camp located along the Palouse River, 12 miles East of Potlatch, ID (next to Laird State Park). Camp Grizzly appeals to Boy Scouts young and old with its wide variety of programs. Since becoming a council summer camp in 1938 Camp Grizzly is an all out action packed experience.

2021 PRICING

The Camp Pricing was Re-Structured in 2020 based on a 5 year plan. CLICK HERE for a brief explanation of those changes.

Youth: $430

($410 Early-Bird Rate if all payments finalized by  May 1 2021)

Adults: $210*

($190 Early-Bird Rate if all payments finalized by May 1 2021)

*For every 10 youth in your registration your Troop will receive a $50 discount on an adult leader!

2021 FEE SCHEDULE

Troop Deposit: $200, Due at registration

Per-Youth Deposit: $40**, Due between Oct 1 2020 and Jan 31, 2021

Second Payment: $160, Due between Feb 1, 2021 and Mar 28, 2021

Final Payment: $200, Due between March 28, 2021 and May 30, 2021

All class fees must be paid no later than the second day of camp to account for schedule changes.

**The Per-Youth deposit is non-refundable, this guarantees a slot for a youth in your troop (even if the youth coming to camp changes) so please confirm your youth counts as early as possible as this will not be refunded for any reason.

Additional youth can be added to your reservation at any time up to two weeks before camp as long as space is available, however once you have secured a youth slot we will turn away new troops  in favor of your reservation if camp is full.

CAMP DIRECTOR, JOHN SMITH 

John has been on staff at Camp Grizzly for 5 years. He has served in roles all over camp from the Trading Post to Program and even in the Office, He is excited to serve now as the Director. Even when he's not at Camp Grizzly, John is still serving youth as a middle school teacher at Lincoln Middle School in Clarkston, WA.
